• Over read of all malignant breast core biopsies
• Breast markers performed on all malignant core biopsies with summary report as an addendum
• Her2 by FISH reflexively performed on all equivocal Her2 by IHC
• Basaloid panel reflexively performed on all triple negative ductal carcinomas
• Invasive ductal carcinomas identified as Luminal A, Luminal B, Luminal-Her2, Her2, or Basaloid subtypes
• Breast markers are read morphometrically, providing standardized, quantitative assessment of ER, PR, Her2neu, and Ki67 immunomarkers.

• Rigorous proficiency testing for Her2.
• Ongoing comparison of breast marker (ER, PR, Her2) IHC results to PCR for purposes of quality assurance.
